We have planned six poster session. Each session will be a Zoom meeting with breakout rooms, one per poster. Attendees will enter the meeting and then self-select which breakout room to enter/visit. Attendees will be able to enter/exit breakout rooms at their leisure during each poster session meeting.
Each poster session will have 48-49 posters (or breakout rooms). We will specify that attendees should visit specific poster numbers (e.g. the first 24-25 posters numerically for the first 45 minutes of a poster session) at specific times during a given poster session.
Poster presenters will be asked to be in their break-out room for either the first 45 min or second 45 min of a given poster session. Poster presenters will be able to share their screen and interact/talk with attendees that enter their breakout room. We think slides might work best for the Zoom breakout rooms (could be several PDF pages). We encourage several slides that capture the essence of what you would normally include on a physical poster. However, if you wish to use a single PDF that represents a full poster it is allowed. Our concern is readability for those in your breakout room. See below for optional upload of PDF of poster.
Optional upload for Poster presenters. We plan to have an optional upload area for you. This will be for you to use if you wish to upload a PDF (of your poster). This uploaded PDF will be available to all attendees via the event platform along with your short and long abstract (from your original abstract submission). This optional upload is separate and in addition to what you choose to present in your Zoom breakout room (see About Poster Sessions link above.)
