Welcome back to Asilomar! The campus-style setting of Asilomar offers an ideal environment for informal meetings and recreational activities. Asilomar, “the refuge by the sea,” is located at the tip of the Monterey Peninsula overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It occupies 105 acres of secluded forest and dunes that are preserved by the California State Park System as a nature center and historic site.
Registration / Badge Pick up at Asilomar
Registration is in the Triton building on the Asilomar Conference. We will be open and ready to greet you on Sunday, April 7 from 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM. We will return Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you!
Conference Program - What's Happening
Go to Program 2019 page for complete details. Program begins Sunday afternoon April 7 with the Young Scientist Symposium (1:30-3:30 PM) in Merrill Hall followed immediately by the Varian Young Investigator Award Talk by Alexander Barnes, also in Merrill Hall.
Shuttle Minivans for Offsite Hotels

Welcome Reception Sunday Afternoon 4:00-6:00 PM in Fireside Underground
The Fireside Underground is an underground parking garage along Asilomar Blvd (the road that divides the campus). In the Fireside Underground you will find the Reception at 4:00 PM along with exhibitors in booths and Young Scientist Posters. We request that you do not display your technical poster until Monday morning.
